A 2-hour learning lab on Day 3 of Housing California’s 2021 (Un)Conference: Homes, Health, and Wealth for All Californians, June 22-24

DC-based housing policy experts will discuss the outlook for new federal funding and policy initiatives as shaped by the response to the pandemic and the renewed attention of the needs of Black Americans and other people of color. Topics will include an overview of the housing provisions in the latest COVID-19 response and infrastructure legislation, the FY 2021 and proposed FY 2022 HUD funding levels, LIHTC improvements (including lowering the 50% test), and other California priorities. Attendees will have a chance to pose their own questions and discuss advocacy priorities & opportunities for California.
