The Mixed-Income Program (MIP) was created in 2017 after the passage of Senate Bill 2 (SB2), the Building Homes and Jobs Act, to create mixed-income multifamily housing for households between 30% and 120% AMI. To date there have been three full application cycles – 2019, 2020, and 2021.
