Bryan Torres

Bryan Torres joined the California Housing Partnership in 2024. As an Equity Policy Research Fellow, he supports the Partnership’s affordable housing preservation and policy efforts through data analysis and conducting research on various affordable housing policy initiatives and emerging programs. Prior to joining the Partnership, Bryan worked at California Tax Solutions, where he created a DACA support program for local East Bay participants during the Covid pandemic, serving as the Project Administrator. Before his time at California Tax Solutions, Bryan volunteered for several community organizations, including People’s Program and Black Organizing Project in Oakland.

Bryan is currently in the Master of Urban Planning program at San Jose State University. He earned a B.A. in Economics from California State University Long Beach in 2022.
