Jesse Ozanian joined the California Housing Partnership in 2022. As a Senior Housing Finance Consultant, he provides financial consulting, technical assistance, and training to our nonprofit and government partners.
Prior to joining the Partnership, Jesse worked in the affordable housing field for over 11 years, first in project management at Mercy Housing and then in development consulting at Zen Development Consultants. During his time with Mercy Housing, Jesse managed five affordable housing developments totaling over 400 units in the Sacramento and Bay Area regions. In his consultant role, Jesse assisted with the closing and conversions of six developments throughout California, lead multiple California Tax Credit and HCD funding applications, and managed four developments in pre-construction in three different states, including California. A graduate of both the California Coalition for Rural Housing’s (CCRH) internship program and the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) Housing Development Training Institute (HDTI), Jesse received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Statistics from California State University, Sacramento.
