The California Housing Partnership welcomes three fellows this summer as part of our new Equity Policy Research Fellowship program. This fellowship is a 10-12 week intensive training and coaching program for existing undergraduate and graduate students to foster the next generation of housing policy leaders and scholars from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups and lower-income backgrounds.
As Equity and Senior Equity Policy Research Fellows, they will support the Partnership’s affordable housing preservation and policy efforts through background research, evidence collection on emerging topics in affordable housing, data analysis for affordable housing research projects, and quantitative analysis for ongoing projects. Meanwhile, the Partnership will provide training, mentoring and networking opportunities for hands-on experience, skill building, and exposure in our collaborative work with state and regional agencies, policymakers, housing providers, and advocacy organizations across California’s affordable housing policy ecosystem.
