Our team provides comprehensive training for local government housing staff on best practices in preserving existing affordable housing. Training sessions focus on basics as well as the latest techniques and strategies in combining funding sources. We provide detailed information regarding what housing is at risk in a community, as well as the tools and strategies to preserve it. Our team helps local agencies to develop their own toolkit for preserving affordable homes in their community, which may include new proforma, underwriting guidelines and benchmarks, and, in the case of preserving existing housing at-risk of conversion, a plan of action for preserving these properties in the most cost-effective manner.
