This is a session on Day 2 of the Federation’s 2021 Conference: “Remembering. Reimagining. Reengaging.” October 19-21.

DC-based housing policy experts will discuss the outlook for new federal funding and policy as shaped by the response to the pandemic and the renewed attention of the needs of Black Americans and other people of color. Topics will include an overview of the housing provisions in the latest COVID-19 response and infrastructure legislation, the FY 2021 and proposed FY 2022 HUD funding levels, LIHTC improvements (including lowering the 50% test), and other San Diego/California priorities.  Attendees will have a chance to pose their own questions and discuss advocacy priorities & opportunities for California.
