Building Initiative for Low-Emissions Development (BUILD) Program Informational Webinar

Host: TRC

BUILD_PPT_LaunchWebinar_CoverThe Building Initiative for Low-Emissions Development (BUILD) program incentivizes and provides technical support for new construction and major retrofits of all-electric low-income affordable housing. BUILD incentives are designed to support market transformation toward building decarbonization and reduce the up-front costs and perceived risk of adopting new technologies. Please join the BUILD Program technical assistance team for an informational webinar on this new program available to California affordable housing builders and developers encouraging all-electric new construction and major retrofits.

BUILD offers housing providers robust and customizable incentives up to $2,000,000 per applicant, as well as up to 300 hours of no-cost technical assistance throughout the entire design and construction of each eligible development. Technical assistance applications are now being accepted for low-income all-electric residential building planning, project fuel-switching, low-emissions building design and technologies, and incentive application completion and program participation.
