The past year has underscored the urgency of many of the goals that guide the Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities (AHSC) program. Correction May 20, 2022: An earlier version of this report misstated in the “Economy” infographic on pages 6 and 13 that wages and business income were $3.4 billion and that state and local taxes generated during housing construction were $1.27 billion. The correct amounts are $2.43 billion (income) and $921 million (taxes).
