Ariel Hickman joined the California Housing Partnership in 2024. As Operations Associate, Ariel provides support across various areas including office management, contract and data management, and general administration.
Prior to joining the Partnership, Ariel worked in animal welfare in roles such as customer service representative, adoptions counselor, and animal education for children. Before this, Ariel worked in Yosemite National Park in both the Wilderness and Interpretation departments, where she created and presented junior ranger programs, worked with guests in the Visitor Center, and patrolled the backcountry. She is excited to continue her love of non-profit work in a new sector and make a difference in her community.
Ariel holds a B.S. in Earth Systems Science with a minor in Spanish from the University of California, Merced, as well as a Certificate for Animal Shelter Management from the University of the Pacific.
