Amy Anderson

Amy Anderson rejoined California Housing Partnership in 2023. As Senior Director, Financial Consulting, she provides technical assistance and training to our nonprofit and government partners. Amy previously was a Senior Financial Consultant with California Housing Partnership providing financial consulting services.

Amy is a leader in housing policy, programs, and development with diverse experience in the government, philanthropy, advocacy, and non-profit sectors. She most recently led the Wells Fargo Foundation’s national philanthropic giving around affordable housing supply. Amy previously served as the Chief Housing Officer for Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, where she helped advance increased housing production and a stronger safety net for vulnerable and economically disadvantaged Angelinos.

Prior to joining the Garcetti Administration, Amy led the work of PATH Ventures, the affordable and permanent supportive housing development affiliate of PATH, a leading homeless services organization in California. She dedicated a decade of her career to working with Abode Communities as a Housing Director and Project Manager.

A former Planning Commissioner and Housing Commissioner in the City of Santa Monica, Amy has played active roles in advocating for the production of more affordable housing for California’s most vulnerable. She served on the California Interagency Council on Homelessness from 2018-2022. Amy has a master’s degree in urban planning from UCLA and a B.A. from Cornell University.
